Laurie Morrow Clark, Training & Technical Assistance Specialist
LAURIE has always been passionate about including children who have disabilities and/or special needs into the community. She has worked with programs supporting children and families to thrive for more than 40 years, including managing an Early Intervention Program serving infants and toddlers who have developmental delays or who are medically involved.
She has been a California Ambassador and Learning Coach for Special Quest, a project through Sonoma State University that supported Early Head Start and Community Partners in Inclusive Practices. She has facilitated numerous trainings for Early Care and Education Teachers on inclusion and belonging and has coached many classrooms on Positive Behavior Support.
She has a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development and a Master's Degree in Special Education. She believes in working hard and playing hard, and enjoys the beach, hiking, exploring nature, and spending time with her family. Laurie has two beautiful daughters who've given her four wonderful grandchildren, two with special needs. They "continue to enrich her life and fill it with joy!"
