Mario Snow, Senior Research Associate
MARIO has more than 15 years of experience working in child welfare, project management, and database operations. Early in his career, he supported children and families through child protective services and this direct service work eventually evolved into diagnostic assessments of individuals in need of crisis services.
His experience with evaluation and research projects ranges from nationwide longitudinal studies to statewide early childhood evaluations, to individual program evaluations. Mario has developed a range of data systems to collect, manage and report on outputs and outcomes, these systems range from small data analysis databases to a statewide database used by many counties within California. He is also well versed in developing and forecasting budgets for management teams and clients.
Mario holds a B.S. in Psychology from Pacific University in Oregon, and an M.S.W. with a Clinical Specialty and an M. B. A., both from Boston College in Massachusetts. He and his husband have a son and daughter, who keep them "on their toes."
