Do you have questions or concerns about a child in your care? The CA CSEFEL (California Collaborative on the Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning) has gathered tools and resources to support you! Your role in supporting the child behind the behavior is vital to the long-term outcomes and well-being of that child.

With the passage of Assembly Bill 752, there is an increased need for tools and materials that can support early care and education programs, particularly California State Preschool Programs, as they work to support ALL children to be successful in their early care and education settings. This website provides resources that may be helpful to implement AB752 requirements. Included are links to websites and tools for program self- assessment, informative webinars and articles, and training and technical assistance projects funded through the California Department of Education, Early Learning and Care Division (ELCD) that may be available to support some programs.

  • California Department of Education Management Bulletin 18-06: Early Learning and Care Division (ELCD)
The purpose of this management bulletin (MB) is to notify contractors regarding new requirements related to the steps which must be taken to avoid expulsion or disenrollment of children in the California State Preschool Programs (CSPPs) because of behavior.
