The California Department of Social Services, in collaboration with WestEd, is offering a series of free webinars on Tuesdays from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- September 15: Inclusion Works! Part 1: Universal Design & Belonging
- November 3: Inclusion Works! Part 2: Collaboration & Adaptation
- January 21: Inclusion Works! Part 3: Modifications & Accommodations
- March 2: Communicating with Families when Concerns Arise
- April 13: Supporting Children with Behavior Adults Find Challenging
Following each webinar, participants will be invited to a ninety-minute virtual small group session called “Collaborative Conversations: Follow-up to Inclusion Webinars and Support on Inclusion”. These sessions are designed to facilitate conversations with others in similar roles to discuss specific areas of interest or concern in relation to supporting inclusion and will be facilitated by a Beginning Together trainer who can provide technical assistance, additional information, and resources.
